The selection and the finaldays - the way of the Swiss Professional Championship Entrepreneurship 2024
Register to take part in a selection day in spring (1 day) and qualify for the final (4 competition days) from 5 - 8 September 2024 in Bern.
Selection day (1 day/different locations)
Create (within 4.5 hours) and then present (3 minutes) a solution in the form of a business model/business plan (example Kawasaki Pitch) The jury evaluates according to specifications.

Day 2 - Competition day
Development of an own business model and creation of a business plan. The jury evaluates according to specifications.
Day 3 - Competition day
Development of an own business model and creation of a business plan. The jury evaluates according to specifications.
Day 4 - Final day
Preparation of the detailed presentations of the own business model for the final presentation. The jury evaluates according to specifications.
This is followed by the medal ceremony.
Conditions of participation for teams
To participate in the Professional Championships in Entrepreneurship, professionals are invited, regardless of a specific industry, who meet the following criteria: Participants are no older than 22 years old at the time of the finals (born in 2002 or later). Participants are currently undergoing training that is subject to the Vocational Training Act.The associated qualifications include: Federal Certificate of Proficiency (EFZ), Federal Vocational Certificate (EBA), Secondary Technical School (FMS; with the exception of courses that follow the EDK curriculum), Secondary Business School (WMS) and Vocational Baccalaureate (BM), or has completed one of the above training courses in the summer of 2024.
Participation in the selection days is possible as a team of two or three. Participation as an individual is not possible.
No specific prior knowledge is required. The target audience includes participants with an interest in working on problems, solutions, and business ideas within and outside their own profession. During the selection days, all necessary instructions will be provided, and coaches will be available to answer questions.
The problem is identical for all participants and is based on one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals formulated by the United Nations (UNSDGs). The participants have to solve the presented problem within the time frame given at the event with an innovative business concept (product or service) and present it to the jury.
The events will last from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day. After a short briefing by the event team, where the competition mode and administrative issues are presented, the professionals have to solve a problem presented on that day. On the respective selection day, at least two teams qualify for the final of the Swiss Professional Championship Entrepreneurship. The teams receive a training weekend with coaches and entrepreneurs as preparation.
